JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our in-house legal team and support our global operations. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating legal activities across multiple departments and regions, managing documents, and assisting with compliance initiatives. You will play a key role in drafting and reviewing legal documents, organizing data, and improving workflows, ensuring that our legal processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for a skilled communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is passionate about supporting a dynamic legal team on a global scale. YOU AREWell organized - You have strong organizational skills and can prioritize tasks, maintain workflows and can balance a demanding workload. In this role, you will be supporting the in-house legal team with a variety of tasks essential to maintaining efficient global operations and compliance. You will work with the legal team to service corporate needs and global business units by drafting documents, creating signature packets and, managing legal workflows. You will help support global entities for day-to-day legal requests and help prioritize workstreams and follow up. A detail-oriented individual - You have experience managing requests from internal stakeholders and have a great reputation for following up in a punctual manner. Staying up to date on local, domestic and international laws, and ensuring compliance with relevant local, state, federal and international regulations. A collaborator and effective communicator - Liaise with internal global stakeholders across legal entities, helping the legal team across many practice areas. Detail oriented - Maintaining records and documentation on all safety and security events, including but not limited to incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets. Lead by example - You are expected to be a subject matter expert with a deep understanding of legal processes and procedures to achieve results characteristic of a successful legal support professional. You will assist in preparation, draft legal documents, and manage legal research to support attorneys effectively. You are accountable, with a proven ability to problem-solve and remain composed in fast-paced and high-pressure situations. You are transparent with your team, your peers, and your supervising attorneys, and you position your team to excel in meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality legal support. REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS * Bachelor's Degree preferred * 1-3 years of paralegal experience in a reputable law firm or internal legal department is preferred, but not required. * The position requires you to work onsite in our Latham, NY headquarters five days a week, Monday through Friday.
