Job Description - Directly support and work closely with the General Counsel
- Assist with general file management, document assembly, and prepping the Board and Executive team meeting minutes and other correspondence
- Assist with contract drafting, review, tracking and analysis, including reviewing and redlining NDA, term sheets, professional services agreements, etc. and advising the business on same
- Assist with business multi-state registration and licensing matters
- Conduct legal research related to payments regulations, developing trends and related federal and state legal requirements
- Assist with preparation and drafting of internal document, Board/ Executive team meeting documentation, meeting minutes, correspondence, etc.
- Strategize on legal work with internal control functions and outside counsel (as needed)
- Assist with other administrative and legal duties (as needed)

The Successful Applicant Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience working in a law firm or financial institution as a Paralegal
- Immediately available to begin a new role starting as a Contractor (6 months, Contract to Hire)
- Ability to work on-site in Stamford, Connecticut (Monday through Friday to begin)
