Job Posting: Litigation Support / eDiscovery Specialist (Various Locations)
Position Overview:
A prominent law firm with a broad geographic presence is seeking a skilled Litigation Support / eDiscovery Specialist to provide essential support for legal teams across multiple office locations. The role will be responsible for managing eDiscovery and litigation support services, including overseeing in-house resources for smaller matters. This position also involves offering day-to-day technical support, training legal teams on the use of litigation technology, and collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for legal teams and clients regarding eDiscovery and litigation support services.
- Provide case-specific technical support on a daily basis, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of eDiscovery processes.
- Train and assist legal teams in utilizing litigation technology and eDiscovery platforms.
- Work closely with eDiscovery team members and legal staff to ensure timely delivery of client solutions and services.
- Offer support to other team members as necessary, maintaining effective collaboration across projects.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation support at a project manager level, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, with a strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other business and legal productivity software.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Location:
While the ideal candidate will be based in one of the firm's offices, a remote or hybrid work arrangement may be possible for candidates located in other areas within the United States.
