The Paralegal-Legal Services Specialist assists the Senior Director Risk Management & Quality Assurance in coordinating the provision of comprehensive risk management services for all insurance
Essential Duties:
- Manages the occurrence/potential claims reporting program, closely reviewing and monitoring occurrences/claims and trending issues.
- Responsible for coordination of interviews, proactively gathering involved documentation and ensuring secure, protected and confidential file maintenance for litigated matters.
- Responsible for notifying insurance carriers, claims TPA, physicians and attorneys
- Coordinates document discovery, witness discovery, claims analysis, casemanagement, and case closure.
- Coordinate and schedule high-level meetings and conference calls.
- Receive and coordinate all service of process.
- Manage and coordinate all legal requests for physicians.
- Maintains calendars to include coordination and scheduling of meetings, depositions,conference calls, sends calendar invites and reminders, reserves conference rooms
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate
- 5+ years of risk management/ legal experience
- Experience with legal terms, laws and judiciary guidelinesexperience with medical terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat
- Notary ( preferred)
**Pay Details:** $25.42 to $34.78 per hour
