This position supports a team of experienced attorneys by assisting in the preparation of legal documents, conducting research, and performing due diligence for various real estate transactions. Description
Review surveys, title commitments, and exception documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Draft and prepare documents related to real estate, loan, and construction transactions, including agreements, leases, loan documents, and construction contracts.
Create ancillary transaction documents such as escrow instructions, deeds, easements, owner's affidavits, and closing certificates.
Perform legal due diligence and analyze zoning ordinances, statutes, and other relevant documentation.
Proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Collaborate closely with attorneys to resolve day-to-day issues and provide support for commercial transactions.
Organize and manage multiple assignments, prioritizing tasks to deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
Profile
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of five years of experience as a real estate paralegal.
Expertise in contracts related to real estate, construction, and leasing transactions.
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Highly organized and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Proficiency in legal software, as well as standard office software such as Word and Excel.
Paralegal certification required.
