What you need to know about this position:
+ Housed in a state of the art new facility designed using voice of the customer, our Emergency department has 28 acute care rooms and 5 Rapid Medical Assessment rooms providing optimal patient experience and work flow.
+ As a high energy department with 100% of physicians Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, we see an average of 45,000 patients.
+ The Emergency Department utlizies Paramedic as a key member of ED staff providing optimum patient care.
+ Our Paramedics in the ED have an hourly base rate starting at $22.47. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
+ Updated Night Shift pay differential
+ In this position you would be scheduled to work 3 -12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week, considered full-time) with start/end times of 7:00pm-7:30am with a holiday and weekend requirement.
+ With at least 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible.
What is required for this position:
+ Upon hire, you must have:
+ Indiana State Paramedic License Or National Registry Paramedic Certification with the ability to obtain an unrestricted state license within 60 days of hire
+ Within 30 days of hires you must have:
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
+ Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
+ Within 6 months of hire you must have
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
(CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment)
+ This position will require frequent standing, walking talking and listening as well as lifting or moving more than 100 pounds
