Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:45 am - 11:15 am, could be extended to full time

Education:? Associates degree or higher
Experience:? Classroom experience preferred
Background: Clear background check
Language: Strong verbal and writing skills in English, Somali or Spanish fluency preferred

Job Duties
Classroom Instruction
* Collaborate with supervising teacher to provide instructional support to students.
* Assist students to reach academic success.
* Creates a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students, and allows them to perform at their very best.
* Utilizes academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics and assessments aligned to Athlos' 3 foundational pillars of a Prepared Mind,?Healthy Body, and?Performance Character.
* Collect and report data on students' academic progress
* Differentiates assistance based on individual needs, learning style, and abilities.
Classroom and School Culture
* Communicates a deep belief that all students can learn, and belong, in the classroom.
* Consistently implements school-wide management policies.
* Creates a positive learning environment by developing classroom rules, systems, and procedures.
* Holds high expectations for student behavior at all times.

* Communicates professionally with parent/guardians and the community.

Knowledge and Skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Classroom and video platforms such as: Zoom or Teams.
* Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage the entire classroom.

* Experience working in diverse communities and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives.
* Demonstrated integrity and high standards in managing information in a confidential and professional manner.
