About the EmployerModesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. We also strategically recruit, hire and retain the highest quality employees that reflect the diverse population of our schools and community.Requirements / QualificationsMCS is looking for Parent Ambassadors to network with parents at school sites to help parents connect to various internal and external related information and resources, share information for school-related programs, events and activities, as well as assist with parent recruitment and encourage participation in school and student activities; and to assist with the coordination and implementation of parent trainings and events.High school diploma, General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHPSE) Certificate.
