Meeting Street is currently looking for a Parent Educator (bilingual preferred) to work 40 hours per week. Duties:
- Conducts personal or telehealth visits using the Parents as Teachers curriculum as a guide.
- Complete all child and family screenings required for the program.
- Meets weekly with supervisor for reflective supervision.
- Able to learn, understand and incorporate the three roles of a parent educator: partnering, facilitating, and reflecting into daily practice with all families from diverse backgrounds with an anti-racist and non-judgmental lens.
- Be able to establish rapport with families and empower them by building on their strengths.
- Strong knowledge and commitment to serving families of diverse social and economic backgrounds.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Maintain and submit in a timely manner all documentation in accordance with the program standards.
- Participates in required trainings.
- Performs data entry as necessary.
- Facilitates and engages families in group activities and other program events.
- Attends Parents as Teachers trainings, and other ongoing professional development as appropriate.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- 3+ years' experience as a parent raising children through ages 0-5
- 2+ years' experience as a Parents As Teachers family participant
- 2+ years professional experience providing services to infants, toddlers and their families
- CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services or related field with 1+ year professional experience providing services to infants, toddlers and their families
Required:
- Valid Driver's license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Training or willing to obtain upon hire.
