PEE DEE COALITION is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled Our Work: Established in 1986, Pee Dee Coalition is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the reduction of sexual assault, family violence, child abuse, and to the needs of victims. The organization serves the seven-county Pee Dee Region of SC including Florence, Darlington, Marion, Chesterfield, Marlboro, Dillon, and Williamsburg Counties. In addition, Durant Children's Center also serves Sumter County. Responsibilities:
- Prepare educational sessions for each week utilizing the curricula provided
- Document attendance for 2-hour group sessions
- Provide routine and consistent progress reports to referring entities
- Report difficulties or concerns to PEPS director
- Be knowledgeable of community resources
Help Parent:
- Learn more effective disciplinary techniques
- Develop clear and effective communication skills
- Identify personal feelings, struggles, and how they affect children
- Increase their knowledge of the ages and stages of child development to better meet the children physical, social and emotional needs
- Acknowledge the personal need for self-care
- Establish child-friendly and cooperative environments at home Requirements:

- Must be patient, empathetic, and have a non-judgmental attitude
- Must be flexible in adapting to new policies, tasks, and situations
- Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must have the ability to affectively observe and analyze body language
