Location: Bowie,MD, USA
The Park Ranger is responsible for providing overall assistance to and supervision of park patrons and user groups utilizing City properties with an emphasis on education and enforcement of municipal ordinance. Additional duties include visitor assistance and insuring compliance with park-related City Codes that are designed to promote park safety and proper usage practices. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Provides security and labor during City sponsored events or recreational activities.
* Patrols City parks and recreational areas for the protection of park property and safety of park visitors as well provides occasional building supervision and security at City Hall during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Two (2) years of experience in park management, park maintenance management, park administration, recreation, natural science, public relations, public safety, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A valid motor vehicle license issued by the state in which employee resides.
* First Aid and CPR certification or be able to be certified within three (3) months of hire.
* This is a Full-time 40-hour position that includes working into the evening, weekends, and holidays. Work/Life balance is considered for the applicant.

Salary: $23.99 Hourly
