Operates moderately heavy equipment and performs maintenance of public parks Examples of Duties Examples of Work:UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION - Observes and checks operation of equipment for malfunctions. Services and maintains automatic and manual irrigation systems. Operates assigned equipment. Services or makes minor adjustments to equipment. Performs maintenance on swimming pools, chlorinator, hydro chlorinator or comparable equipment. Performs general maintenance on golf courses, tennis courts and baseball diamonds. Performs daily maintenance on turf related equipment. Maintains greens, tees, fairways and ball fields. Assists with plumbing, concrete, or carpentry work. Shows discretion and is courteous to golfers when maintaining courses. Cut grass and uses weed eaters. Provides direction to laborers in moving, separating and loading materials.
