Job DetailsJob Location New Orleans St Charles Garage - New Orleans, LA Salary Range $13.00 - $20.00 Base+Commission/month Description This job consists of auditing parking garage in New Orleans, to ensure parking patrons have paid to park. Individuals that have not paid will have their vehicle immobilized(boot applied to wheel of vehicle) and charged a fee. Full Time and Part Time, Day/Night/Weekend Shift Positions are available. Requirements/Responsibilities To qualify for this position you must be 18 years or older, have a smart phone with web access, pass a drug test and criminal background check. Additionally you must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner. This position requires the ability to work alone and therefore must exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people.
- Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies.
- Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance with a computerized hand held computer or manual tickets. Impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
- Maintain schedule as requested and provide feedback to improve schedule efficiency.
- Carrying out all safety procedures.
- Drive the golf cart safely and within the speed limits, wear personal protective equipment.
- Listen, look, and stay aware of the general public and other team members to ensure safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Maintain accurate records as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the facility
- Other related duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of geography of the area they are enforcing
- Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to use a hand held computer
- Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle
- Ability to understand and apply parking regulations
- Ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner
- Ability to walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire
