Job Description:
JOB OBJECTIVE: To plan, coordinate and supervise the activities and operations of the parking enforcement section in the Department of Public Works and to ensure the enforcement of parking regulations in timed and metered parking areas and other non-moving violations are in compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, guidelines, policies and procedures.This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.Please click HERE for a complete list of essential job functions.These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of two (2) years of college coursework; two (2) years of customer service experience dealing with the public to include two (2) years of work experience with inspection, regulation enforcement, or a related area; one (1) year of computer experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience.
