Issues citations. Applies device to immobilize vehicles. Inspects vehicles to prepare impound form and impounds vehicle. Collects parking meter revenues and parking lot fees. Counts revenues, prepares cash counts and deposits. Answers customer parking questions. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
  • Issues parking citations.
  • Accepts payments within parking lot.
  • Collects parking meter revenue.
  • Installs and removes immobilization devices; impounds vehicles.
  • Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsRequired Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
  • At least one (1) year of experience in customer service or public contact.
Valid Licenses and CertificationsRequired Licenses or Certifications
  • Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
The following Licenses and Certifications that must be obtained after employment. Continued employment is contingent on successfully obtaining required certification(s) and/or license(s) within the specified period of time indicated above from time of hire.
  • Texas Motorcycle Driver License must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment
