The Little Rock Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to oversee and implement essential data management, marketing, and communications strategies. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that departmental activities, operations, and services run smoothly and in compliance with the highest standards of excellence, including those required by the Commission for Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Mathematics, Public Administration, Statistics or a related area; two (2) years of professional-level experience in statistical and analytical research, evaluation, or data analysis, or related area, two (2) years of special project analysis, organization and coordination, or related area, two (2) years of supervisory experience and one (1) year of experience utilizing a personal computer to include word processing and spreadsheet software. Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) Certification is desired but not required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
