The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such duties are a logical assignment to the position.Performs routine general and preventative maintenance, cleaning, and/or preparation of equipment, systems, and infrastructure.Prepares and maintains athletic fields and park grounds and all associated amenities.Trims trees and shrubs and performs basic landscape installation and maintenance.Operates light equipment (saws, weed eaters, drills, edgers).Monitors and maintains playground and park structures.Perform inspections and repairs minor irrigation issues.Monitors and maintains inventory levels of equipment, supplies, and materials.Performs building maintenance.Assists in the preparation, operation and takedown of special events hosted by the City.Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.Regular and timely attendance are required for this position.Must report to work for duty outside normally scheduled work hours in response to natural disasters, emergencies or critical incidents as determined by City Administration.
