We are looking for a high-energy, organized, and customer-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is essential for maintaining an efficient and friendly workplace by helping with various administrative tasks that ensure smoothday-to-day operations. The ideal candidate brings positivity, a willingness to assist wherever needed, and an eagerness to support multiple departments, including Human Resources.*Interested applicants must complete computer-based testing with Spherion in order to be considered for this role(Typing, MS Word, MS Excel, Office Grammar & Spelling, etc.). - Employee Activity Logging: Accurately document employee activities and time logs to support efficient workforce management.
- Document Management: Scan, upload, and organize important paperwork, ensuring records are stored correctly and accessible when needed.
- Phone Management: Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system, ensuring professional and courteous communication with callers.
- HR Support: Assist the Human Resources department with tasks such as filing, document preparation, and responding to basic employee inquiries.
- Visitor Reception: Greet visitors and vendors, ensuring they feel welcomed and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Scheduling Support: Help organize appointments or meetings for staff and management, ensuring schedules remain up-to-date.
- General Office Support: Assist with a variety of office tasks as needed, such as ordering supplies, sorting mail, and coordinating with other departments to keep the office running smoothly.
Skills:
- Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to assist team members and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable personality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Previous experience in an office or administrative setting is a plus.
