Diversity and inclusion are a key part of our strategy for long-term success.POSITION SUMMARY:This position provides administrative support and contributes directly to research efforts by maintaining records, data analysis and presentation.This role requires 29 hours per week, with six hours of work Monday through Thursday and five hours on Friday.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides administrative support to facility as needed.
- Maintains records, data analysis and presentations as required.
- Coordinates clerical needs, mailings, bookkeeping, office supplies and purchases for facility.
- Coordinates all aspects of shipping both domestic and to counter season facilities.
- Participation in planning regional and local research meetings.
- Assist in the hiring of temporary part time labor required for the facilities research project.
- Assist in packaging, planting and other jobs associated with the stations research project as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years previous administrative support experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional and customer service oriented
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize work
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Some overnight travel required
- Must have valid driver's license and meet MVR Requirements
