JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to an assigned Assistant Office Administrator or Senior Office Administrator, responsible for providing administrative support to the Williamson County Parks Department by performing reception and clerical duties.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
* Provides coverage at a reception desk to assist visitors and callers
* Provides customer service to customers and staff via telephone, email or in person
* Ensures comprehensive filing systems are maintained and up to date
* Retrieves, sorts, and distributes incoming mail and fax documents
* Performs daily financial transactions such as collecting payments, making bank deposits, balancing cash draws, and prepares financial reports for internal and external entities
* Orders equipment and supplies for offices and aids with budget tracking
* Schedules and creates reservations for various sporting programs, events, and facilities
* Assists and creates marketing content and tools such as brochures and flyers for department events, programs, and memos
* Creates and maintains various reports, forms, worksheets, and informational materials
* Enters and verifies data within applicable databases and systems
* Reviews, processes, and issues permits related to park operations
* Assist department staff and management with events and other clerical duties as needed
* Attends all meetings and trainings as required
* Performs special duties as assigned

* Position involves prolonged sitting at a workstation, visual examination of documents, reaching, walking, twisting, bending, standing and occasional lifting/carrying
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
* Work is primarily indoors in an air-conditioned environment
* Occasional outdoor work required at the Quarry Splash Pad during summer months
IRREGULAR HOURS
* Work outside of the normal office hours (Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) may be required
* This is Primarily a Friday, Saturday and Sunday position
* May be deemed essential personnel in the event of an emergency
* Regular attendance is required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* High School diploma or GED
* One (1) year of clerical experience in a customer service role
* Prior cash handling experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and various tracking systems
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required within thirty (30) days of employment
* Valid Texas Driver'slicense
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Prior experience working in parks administration, parks operations or a related capacity
