Job Title: Part-Time Assistant Athletic Director
Reports to: Athletic Director
FLSA Status: Exempt

Core Accountabilities: Will assist the Athletic Director in all facets of the athletic program including scheduling, hiring coaches, promoting programs and events, ordering equipment, constructing budgets and facilitating operations.
Responsibilities:
* Attend up to 4 middle school home events per week (on campus events take priority)
* Keep our social media platforms up-to-date (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) using our Gipper digital imaging software
* Be second in command if the Athletic Director is out, this will be the person in charge
* Assist Athletic Director in day-to-day tasks
Required Skills and Knowledge:
* Knowledge of our athletic programs
* Demonstrated leadership and professionalism
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and student athletes
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
* Knowledge of strengthening and conditioning methods and techniques
* Previous High School or College playing or coaching strongly preferred
Requirements of Employment:
* Compliance with NCHSAA rules and regulations and all other rules outlined in the school code of conduct
* Potential coaches must complete any coaching education courses required to become eligible in their specific sport
* Must be able to obtain CPR Certification (EWA funded)
* Must be trained on EWA Emergency Action Plan Procedures
* Driver's License
