Growing together.Supports patient care delivery in the areas of patient reception, scheduling, insurance verification, payment processing for campuses with hospital and medical group departments.Location: S69W15636 Janesville Rd, Muskego, WI 53150We offer 4 - 6 weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.Training will be conducted on-site.Primary Responsibilities:Greets visitors and patients in person, or communicates by telephone or video conferencing, upholding excellent customer serviceEnters and updates patient demographic and financial information, ensuring the patient is fully registered as early in the process as possibleObtains appropriate applications and forms, confirming signatures are on file. Photocopies/scans documents as neededProvides patients with financial responsibility information and collects patient liabilities, documents amounts in the appropriate fields, and balances the cash box dailyWorks with partnering departments (Financial Counseling, Scheduling, Financial Clearance, and clinical areas) to ensure all aspects of the patient's encounter are completed as neededProvides wayfinding instructions and assists with hospital information as requestedCoordinates patient admission needs, bed assignments, and tracking boards where applicableMeets or exceeds audit accuracy standards.
