If you are looking for more than a job, apply today and begin your career with the tire and auto service innovation leader!General Description:As an Automotive Technician in one of Just Tires centers, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing tires and conducting automotive services while delivering an excellent guest experience. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and learn about new technologies in the rapidly changing automotive industry, while being successful in a team environment. We encourage you to allow us to invest in your success as you invest in ours; apply today!Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing.Conduct diagnostics and repairs on brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical systems, air conditioning, computer systems, power-train management systems, and perform road tests for diagnosis and service recommendations.Road test vehicles after repairs to ensure mechanical soundness.Display a commitment to learning new technologies in the automotive industry.Demonstrate excellent guest service, providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.Guide and mentor junior and mid-level automotive technicians.Document all work performed on the repair order.Report safety issues immediately to management.Promote teamwork to deliver accurate guest care during all operating hours.Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.Perform various manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.Basic Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of automotive diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience.Valid driver's license.Must be at least 18 years of age.No relocation is offered for this position.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.ASE Certifications.Experience with exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical systems, air conditioning, computer systems, and power-train management systems.Position Criteria:Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results.Hard worker demonstrating responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork.Ability to analyze and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines.Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies, employing about 62,000 people across 46 facilities in 21 countries.
