Find out more at www.TransdevNA.com or watch an overview video at 're Hiring for a Baggage Handler/ Customer Service Assistant in Columbus, OH!Transdev is proud to offer:$17.50/hourAttractive benefits package, including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and vision.Paid time off & vacation.Part timeOur Baggage handler / Customer Service Assistants are responsible for:Oversees on-road service by tracking trip performance measures, route began on time, performance, incidents, etc.Provides customer support by responding to questions/concerns regarding schedules, lost items, timing, and general service challenges. Assists passengers in need, and with loading/unloading of baggage from the bus.Assists in emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between drivers, management, and emergency services.Reconcile physical passenger counts and electronic count from the bus systems if equipped.Other duties as assigned by GM or Direct SupervisorTo qualify as a Customer Service Assistant, you'll need:High school diploma or equivalentValid drivers licenseTechnical degree preferredADA knowledgebaggage handling2 years customer service experienceExcellent verbal, interpersonal skills, email, and phone skills.Problem solving skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to lift minimum of 50 ibs.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
