PART TIME CART ATTENDANTDepartment/Location: Public Works and Utilities / Golf CourseFLSA Status: Non-exemptSupervision Exercised: NoneSupervision Received: Reports directly to Golf Course Manager or assigned representative.General Purpose of the Position: The purpose of this position is to maintain the golf cart fleet.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Gas, oil, and clean golf carts for daily use.•Perform duties of starter/ranger when needed.•Paint tee marker signs.•Perform light custodial duties.•The intent of this class description is to provide a representative summary of the types of duties and responsibilities that would be required of classifications given this title and shall not be construed as a declaration of the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position. Incumbent may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this job description. Skills and Physical Abilities Required:•Knowledge of the rules and etiquette of golf.•Ability to deal with the public.•Must be able to adhere to prescribed routines and practices and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and supervisors.•This position requires lifting of up to forty-five (45) pounds with frequent standing and bending. Computer Equipment and Software Requirements: None Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
