Job Summary:The Part-Time Cashier/Receptionist at Jay Auto Honda works to provide exceptional customer service and assistance to all incoming visitors and callers. This position plays a vital role in contributing to the overall success of the dealership by ensuring that all customers have a positive experience. The individual in this role will handle cashier transactions, answer phone calls, and assist with administrative tasks as needed. This is a part-time, hourly position in the auto industry located in Bedford, Ohio. The hours needed are 5-8pm Monday &Thursday and 9-6pm Saturday.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 per hour. As a part-time employee, you will have access to Jay Auto Honda's employee discount program and a positive and inclusive work environment.Responsibilities:•Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner•Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently•Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or employee•Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining customer records•Monitor and maintain a clean and organized reception and cashier area•Adhere to all company and industry policies and procedures•Provide exceptional customer service at all times•Perform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:•High school diploma or equivalent•Previous experience in customer service or cash handling preferred•Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills•Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment•Strong attention to detail and accuracy•Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends•Must be able to pass a background check•Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plusEEOC Statement:Jay Auto Honda is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
