Overview: The Village at Mercy Creek, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community with a Memory Care Unit coming soon. We are seeking a dedicated part-time Certified Nursing Aide (C.N.A.) to join our caring and passionate team.

Position Summary: As a Certified Nursing Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the dignity and independence of our residents. You will assist them with daily living activities, provide medication reminders, and support their social and spiritual needs. Your attentiveness will ensure the well-being of our residents by monitoring their physical and cognitive health.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders, while adhering to care plans and community policies.
• Provide support in lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transporting residents safely.
• Assist in dining room services during mealtimes, including meal setup, cleanup, delivery, and documentation of intake.
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nurse and supervisor.
• Deliver nutritional supplements as needed and assist residents to ensure proper intake; document as required.
• Engage in life enrichment programming to facilitate meaningful activities for residents.
• Document resident care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Certification may be required depending on state regulations.

Experience: 1+ years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion while working with the elderly.
