About Us:Relief Mental Health was founded in February of 2020. Within these 3 years we have expanded to 10 new offices across Illinois, Wisconsin, and New Jersey. We aim to create a new standard for mental health care, offering a continuum of innovative therapeutic interventions and responding to evolving patient needs.Job Summary:The part time clinical assistant will be working closely with the Mental Health Provider to perform basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing (urine drug screens and pregnancy tests) and other patient care. The ideal candidate is a compassionate person who pays attention to detail and is eager to assist patients and families. The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 4:00pm-8:00pm, with flexibility for Fridays. Responsibilities:Greet and assist visitors and patients when they arrive at the officeReview all patient paperwork and mental health assessments Assist with phone calls from patientsCoordinate the daily administrative activities, including but not limited to scheduling, entering patient data in the EHR system, patient check-in and check-out, rooming patients, patient medical record maintenance, etc.Preparation and upkeep of exam and treatment roomsObtain and record patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentialityAssist providers with performing basic vital signs and point of care testing (urine drug screens and pregnancy tests) and other patient careAssist providers with pharmacy calls regarding prescription questions and issuesAssist in prior authorizations for medicationsAssist with printing and faxing documentsFollow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiencyDeliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and familiesEnsure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAASkills:Phlebotomy experience preferred but not requiredPrevious experience with EHR systems - Kareo is a plusPrevious experience with Google DriveExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills Extremely detail-oriented and organizedQualifications:High School diploma, Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience.Familiarity with electronic medical health care record system preferred, not required.Physical Demands:Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs - moving or assisting patient to bathrooms may be requiredAbility to stand for extended periods during shiftWhat we Offer:Competitive 401K planPartnership with Lifetime FitnessHealth Insurance (Medical, Dental and Vision)FSA and Dependent Care FSAShort Term DisabilityTuition ReimbursementPTO
