Position Summary:
We are hiring a part time Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) to join our interdisciplinary team at Vida Guidance Center in the Bronx, NY. Vida is an Article-31 Mental Health Center serving families in the community. As an LMSW Therapist at Vida, you will conduct individual and group psychotherapy with adults and/or children and families.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Master's Degree in Social Work required.
* NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW)
* Bilingual English and Spanish required.
* Familiarity with evidence-based modalities.
* 2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.
Key Duties:
* Completes documentation in accordance with OMH regulations. Monitors treatment plans for patients.
* Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
* Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools.
* Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
* Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
* Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
* Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
* Participates in clinical team meetings.
Starting Compensation:
Minimum $55.00 per year; Maximum $55.00 per year
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:
Onsite, Bronx, NY, Shifts fall between Mondays and Saturdays.
