JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Penn State Behrend Office of Community and Workforce Programs is seeking a A CDL Class A instructor for classroom training.Expectations include, but are not limited to:
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate & provide training to others
- Ability to develop assigned curriculum
- A valid US CDL class A driver's license
- Minimum of 3 years verifiable over the road (OTR) or local commercial driving experience
- Must possess and maintain a good driving record with DOT/DMV
This position does not require Behind the Wheel skills training but rather theory in the classroom to prepare students for the skills training. Courses are scheduled in various ways and are offered mornings, afternoons, evenings, and on Saturdays throughout the year. This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties.
