Job DescriptionStarting Rate: $12.48 Dauphin County Facility Maintenance is currently accepting applications for the part time custodian position. The individual in this role is responsible for but not limited to performing the following essential functions: Sweeps, mops, vacuums or scrubs floors; and shampoos carpeted areas. Cleans furniture, bathrooms, windows, walls, and fixtures. Collects and properly disposes of trash, garbage and recyclables. Disinfects specified areas as required. Replenishes all bathroom supplies. Notifies maintenance workers of any needed plumbing or maintenance repairs. Operates cleaning equipment. Performs all other duties as assigned. Minimum Education, Experience, and Training Requirements: Graduation from high school or an accredited equivalency program, plus 6-12 months working experience in a custodial environment, preferred. Other Requirements: A valid driver's license and a positive driving record are required.
