DescriptionKimberton Whole Foods in Wyomissing is looking for a part-time Dairy & Frozen Stocker to join the team!Availability: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week.Actual Schedule: Sundays 7am-12pm, Mondays 7am-12pm, Thursday 2pm-8:30pm and Fridays 9am-3:30pm. All team members are required to work one weekend shift weeklyAge Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.Hourly Pay: $15.00-17.00 depending on experience.Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.DAILY OPERATIONS: The Perishable Team Member's primary responsibilities to execute the following.* Provide exceptional customer service to all.* Receiving and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy, bakery, and specialty products.* Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands.* Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis.* Working in collaboration with the Perishable Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.* Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the entire department.* Understands KWF inventory management practices.* Assist in other areas of the store as needed.RequirementsPhysical Capabilities:* Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) - the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.* Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects - up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.* Stooping, squatting, & kneeling - stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.* Walking - short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.* Standing- prolonged standing.* Work environment - movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).* Climate - ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
