Come join the QCC team and be part of our vision for the future!Nursing Responsibilities:Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients by providing the following:Administer medicationsPerform medical intakes and asses if patient is fit for incarceration, as neededRespond to sick call requests and follow up with the medical provider when neededCheck and/or change medical dressings as required by the medical providerPerforming 14-day physicalsManaging chronic careProviding patient education on health concernsResponding to medical emergenciesBe capable of performing life saving measures and ability to take charge and give direction in an emergency.Maintain working knowledge of pharmacology, including but not limited to drug reaction/overdose, formulary/non-formulary medications, and knowledge of medication costsBe able to provide insight and direction to Medically Trained Personnel, as needed.Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulationsLocation: Brown County JailShift Opening(s): 16 hours per week - flexible schedulingRequirements:Valid LPN or RN licensureValid CPR certificationMust be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequentlyMust be capable of lifting up to 50 poundsQCC's Benefits:Competitive compensation packagesPaid time offReferral ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramFinancial Wellness Program401K with a 4% company matchJET6KZzQkk
