Through maximizing student success, the College seeks to contribute to the economic growth and development of York, Lancaster, and Chester counties and of the State.The Part-Time Dental Office Assistant performs the following functions:
- Performs administrative functions for the business activities of the dental clinic; maintains patient records, schedules and confirms patient appointments, enters data into Eaglesoft Dental Software Program, manages financial transactions, answers and receives telephone calls for the department and dental clinic, responds appropriately to route calls and messages.
- Provides administrative support for faculty; develops course materials as needed, enters clinic grades accurately and maintains spreadsheets; records minutes for all department and advisory board meetings, organizes meetings, and corresponds with dental community as required.
- May order clinical/laboratory supplies as directed; prints/orders clinical/laboratory forms as required and assists department chair with maintenance and inventory of clinical/office supplies and equipment.
- Assists with the instruction and evaluation of students learning Eaglesoft Computer Program.
- Performs other job duties as needed including, yet not limited to Give Kids a Smile, Summer Dental Clinic, Health Fairs, Accreditation documentation, orientation, onboarding activities.
