Penn State Harrisburg is seeking a dynamic and experienced part-time instructor to teach Design Thinking and Innovation. This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality instruction to students, fostering a creative and innovative learning environment, and contributing to the development of the curriculum.Job Duties
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Design Thinking and Innovation
- Develop and implement course materials, lesson plans, and assignments.
- Foster a creative and innovative learning environment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in design thinking and innovation.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the curriculum and student experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as Design Thinking, Innovation, Business, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in design thinking, innovation, or related areas.
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience in design thinking and innovation.
- Experience with online teaching and learning platforms.
- Proven track record of innovation and creativity in teaching and professional practice.
