The City of Sheridan Police Department is actively recruiting a positive, team-oriented, and dedicated individual with strong accountability to fill the position of Part-Time Dispatcher. This position is responsible for performing technical communications duties in support of Sheridan County law enforcement, medical, fire, and other emergency services operations. An incumbent in this position may be designated Entry, Basic, Advanced or Professional depending on experience, training, and special duties. The ideal candidate will look for opportunities for success, have a good support system in place, and be adaptable to changing schedules and atmosphere. The starting wage for this position is $23.89 hourly. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, match to a retirement account (457b plan), paid time off and a wellness program. The schedule for this position will be 20 hours per week. Times may vary.
