Urgently Hiring!! Looking to fill as soon as possible!! Job SummaryQSAC is hiring part-time NYS Certified Special Education Teachers for our home and community based EI, SEIT and SETSS programs (NYC boroughs).We offer flexible schedules with a minimum of two days per week (5 hours) commitment. All programmatic instruction is designed and implemented according to the principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Looking for more than just a job? Join our team of dedicated behavior analysts and certified teachers and start making a difference!The salary range for this position is $55.00-$65.00 an hour.Qualification & Work Experience
  • New York State Permanent Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities (B-2) Initial or Professional certification required
  • Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and applied behavior analysis is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
  • Demonstrate patience and ability to learn and utilize systematic procedures to enhance independence and quality of life
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served
  • Commitment to company values and adherence to policies
Locations Child's home, an approved or licensed pre-Kindergarten or Head Start program, non-special education school setting or a childcare location selected by the parent.Mission QSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism spectrum disorder, together with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services.
