Part-time Instructors may teach up to eight (8) contact hours per week or 120 contact hours per semester. The terms of employment are based on college enrollment and class enrollment.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Earned Master's degree or higher from a regionally-accredited institution in biological, environmental or geoscience discipline OR master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the above disciplines required.Teaching experience required.Preferred Qualifications:Additional Preferred Qualifications:Recent, successful, post-secondary teaching experience in Environmental Science courses.Online, remote, or virtual teaching experience.QM Teaching Online certified.Posting Date: 09/07/2023Closing Date: 09/01/2024Open Until Filled: NoSalary/Hourly Rate: $64.41Salary Comments: 2023-2024 Academic Year. Professional Instructor (Non-Adjunct) $966 per one (1) course contact hour. The course contact hour divided by 15 equals the clock hour rate (i.e., $966/15 = $64.41).
