Posting Summary: The Rutgers School of Nursing invites applications for the Part-Time position of Executive Director of the Center for Health Equity and Systems Research (CHESR). Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with scholarly achievements including funded research and publication record, as well as other relevant professional experience. Successful candidates will demonstrate the expertise and commitment to advancing nursing and interdisciplinary research as well as the launching and sustainment of a school of nursing research center.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • PhD – area of expertise or focus of program of research that links to our educational mission and vision;
  • Sustained record of scholarly publications;
  • A focused program of scholarship in an area complementary to nursing science;
  • Skill at grant writing as evidenced by securing extramural support for research;
  • Experience in successfully launching and maintaining a research center.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Success securing highly competitive funding awards;
  • Experience with student advising/mentorship.
