Position Title: Part-Time Faculty, Education Department/School: School Social & Behavioral Sciences Salary/Pay Rate: $1,213 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist College. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online, graduate, music, or lab courses. Job Summary: The School of Social & Behavioral Sciences invites applications for a Part-Time Faculty, Education position for the 2024-2025 academic year. Opportunities to teach multiple/additional courses may become available. Successful candidates will teach, develop course materials, assist students as needed, and assess student work. Candidates will be contacted on an as-needed basis. Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should have a Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution, and preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience. Essential Functions: Opportunities are available to teach in one or more areas across several disciplines over time. Teaching opportunities include undergraduate courses in both on-ground and online environments. Availability to teach during daytime hours is desired. Bringing industry expertise into the classroom via your own personal experience or by inviting guest speakers from your network is preferred.
