Title: Part-Time Faculty- Information SystemsDepartment: Computer Information SystemsCampus Location: Arnold/Main CampusWork Mode: This position requires regular in-person presence on campus and at alternative locations, depending on class schedule and other assigned duties.Position Type: Part-Time FacultyPosition Summary:The School of Science, Technology, and Education is looking for part-time faculty who are able to teach courses in the Computer Information Systems Department. Candidates must be able to teach in both face-to-face and online capacities.Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) is committed to enriching the educational experience it offers through the diversity of its faculty, administrators, and staff members. The college will annually review this restriction and, if appropriate, expand the list of states of employment eligibility.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment.Meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested.Adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards.Required Qualifications:A master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems and documented teaching experience is necessary.Combination of industry and instructional experience desired.Strong communication skills.Teaching or training experience.Industry Certifications in:ITILHelp DeskSoftware Quality AssuranceGoogle or AWS cloud experienceA+Preferred Qualifications:#J-18808-Ljbffr
