Summary of PositionTeach didactic, laboratory, or clinical courses in bachelor's or master's degree respiratory care programs. Course assignments and availability vary each semester.Position InformationPlans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students promptly. YSU's culture of enrichment flourishes in our diverse, accessible, and quality education.Qualifications and CompetenciesMinimum Qualifications: At least an earned master's degree and expertise in the content area to teach in the Master of Respiratory Care program. At least a bachelor's degree and clinical expertise in the content area to teach in the undergraduate BSRC program. Currently credentialed and licensed as a Respiratory Therapist or a licensed medical doctor. Minimum of two years of experience in respiratory therapy. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate to teach in the Master of Respiratory Care and Master's degree to teach in the BSRC program. American Association for Respiratory Care member and Quality Matters certification if teaching an online course. Other desirable credentials include ACCS, CPFT/RPFT, SDS/RPSGT, NPS, and AE-C certifications.Supplemental InformationPlease upload all transcripts as one PDF file.
