Part-Time Foodservice OpeningsCategory/Level: Part-Time, Hourly Wages/Memorandum of UnderstandingStart Date: August 2024NIACC Foodservice is hiring for the following part-time positions. In your application materials, please indicate which position(s) you are interested in.DishwasherMaintains a clean dish room, properly washes soiled dishes by hand using a 3-compartment sink as well as an automatic dishwashing machine. Collects used kitchenware from the kitchen and dining areas. Stores clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately after drying process. Replenishes cleaning chemicals as needed. Checks washing equipment operation and promptly reports technical issues. Keeps area organized and free of clutter. Maintains clean, dry floors throughout shift. Cleans dish room including dish machine at end of shift. Removes garbage regularly. Assists in other areas of the food service operation as needed.Shifts needed: 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m., 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., 3:00-7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday with some weekends 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 4:00-6:30 p.m.Wage: $13.88 per hourServerEnsures an adequate supply of plates, utensils and glasses are available before and during each meal. Turns on hot wells and fills food in preparation for the meal to be served. Retrieves appropriate serving utensils needed. Serves the appropriate portion to each guest. Communicates with the cooks when more food is needed. Keeps serving area clean and full. Empties hot wells and takes food to kitchen at conclusion of meal. Thoroughly cleans/sanitizes the serving area. Assists other employees in closing/cleaning the kitchen areas.Shifts needed: 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., 3:00-7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday with some weekends 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 4:00-6:30 p.m.Wage: $13.88 per hourBreakfast Set-Up/Salad Bar PrepPrepare serving line for breakfast. Turn on equipment and set food and condiments in place for breakfast. Serve breakfast to guests. Cut, chop and fill salad bar foods for lunch and dinner. Fill salad bar and restock as needed. Prepare back-ups for refilling. Clean salad bar and restock after lunch.
