POSITION SUMMARYCleaning assigned areas of the facility. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and cleans suites, general areas, restrooms, locker rooms, seats, corridors and concourses. Performs routine day-to-day cleaning and assigned cleaning projects in the building to help provide a clean and safe environment for our customers, patrons, and employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSweeps, mops, or vacuums floors, corridors, halls, and stairwellsCleans restrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, walls, mirrors, etc. Restocks sanitary supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps and sanitizersCleans other assigned areasDoes project cleaning, such as washing windows, and shampooing carpets and runnersRemoves trash, debris, refuse and recycling. Takes trash and recycling materials to the proper location and disposes of properlySweeps sidewalks, curbs, and parking areas. Removes trash from these areas and disposes of properlyAttends training to remain informed of safety regulations and cleaning techniquesMaintains a positive and responsive attitudeMaintains open communication with supervisor at all timesUses standard cleaning tools such as brooms, mops, and wipers. Uses vacuums, auto scrubbers, and carpet cleaning machines Performs other related duties as required or requestedREQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalMust possess the ability to be courteous, diplomatic and professional at all times Must be able to work varied hours and days, including weekends, and holidaysMust be able to work extended hours due to event needsMust be able to read and interpret written materialMust be able to work with limited supervision at timesPrevious Tennant auto scrubber experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift at least 50 poundsMust be able to walk or stand for long periods of timeMust be able to work on irregular work surfaces, such as stairs, ramps, ice, dirt, or other surfaces.Must be able to move equipment, and properly handle toolsCompensationThis role pays $15.25 per hourRochester Arena, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
