Schuette Metals is looking for an individual who will be responsible for making sure the computers in office and in both plants remain in working conditions, adding new users to Active Directory, and helping users navigate issues that may arise daily. We are a leading full-service metal fabricator. We've been providing outstanding products using advanced technologies since 1957. We understand, meet, and exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities:
- Helping Users with basic troubleshooting over the phone or in person
- Making and running network cables
- Working on plant computers and updating devices when necessary
- Being approachable and helpful to users
- Documenting processes that have not been documented previously.
- Working with everyone from maintenance to the president
- Being understanding and having compassion while working with others.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently in school for an IT related coursework in a 2-year or 4-year degree or certificate program
- Experience and/or Training: Windows 10/11 knowledge, Basic computer knowledge, Call Center/Customer Service experience, Communication skills
- Technology/Equipment: Computer hardware, Basic Coding knowledge, Virtual Machine comprehension
- Other: A strong desire to learn and grow in the IT area
