A hospital in New York is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse to join their Outpatient Oncology center in Rockland County as a Nurse Coordinator. About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
- Setting: Outpatient
- Specialty: Oncology
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities: The Infusion RN will
- Provide the primary point of contact between the patient and the interdisciplinary team in outpatient settings
- Perform frequent patient evaluations, including monitoring and tracking vital signs
- Perform procedures such as IV placement, phlebotomy, and administering medications
- Handle other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in an Oncology and/or Infusion role
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- OCN certification
- ONS Chemo/Biotherapy certification
