Job Description:

Our client, a large media and entertainment company in NYC, is looking for a part-time Jr. Research Analyst for a 15-hour/week contract through the end of the year. This position will be supporting digital campaigns across the company portfolio by owning key ad measurement reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring the effectiveness of their digital advertising efforts through comprehensive viewability reporting, audience guarantees estimates, and other ad hoc measurement analyses. The successful candidate will leverage large data sets to produce clear and concise analyses, providing valuable insights to various internal stakeholder teams. Additionally, the Research Analyst will identify industry trends related to ad measurement and create digital tags in Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings for all digital properties. This position requires experience in a digital programmatic landscape and familiarity with measurement tools, as well as proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive viewability reporting for digital campaigns.
  • Generate and analyze audience guarantees estimates to ensure campaign success.
  • Conduct ad hoc measurement analyses to support various business needs.
  • Utilize large data sets to create succinct and insightful analyses for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and report on industry trends related to ad measurement and programmatic advertising.
  • Create and manage digital tags in Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings for all digital properties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ad measurement strategies and reporting processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of all ad measurement data and reports.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other internal teams.
  • Continuously improve measurement methodologies and explore new tools and techniques for better analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a digital programmatic landscape and familiarity with measurement tools.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in digital ad measurement.
