Kimberton Whole Foods in Ottsville is hiring a part-time Food Production Team Member to join our caf team! Schedule: Part-time.Availability: Fridays and Saturdays 10:00am-6:30pm or 7am-3:30pm . Other varying shifts within a 7am-6:30pm timeframeAge Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.Hourly Pay: $15.00-18.00 to start.Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.Daily Operations for Food Production Team Members - The essentials of this position are food preparation and packaging of organic scratch recipes to be sold in our Caf. This includes the following:
- Supports food production team by making sandwiches, wraps, boxing deli salads, preparing and packing baked goods.
- Supporting the juice + espresso bar and caf as needed.
- Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for cooking or serving.
- Stocks and fills the ready to eat & grab and go areas; ensures tag and pricing accuracy.
- Wash dishes, pots & pans.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floor.
- Remove trash and recycling and clean kitchen waste containers.

RequirementsPhysical Capabilities for Food Production Team Members:
- Full Sense Range (Vision, Hearing, and Sense of Smell) - the ability to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Lifting, Gripping and Carrying Objects - Up to 50 to 75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
- Stooping, Squatting, and Kneeling - Stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
- Walking - Short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
- Standing - Prolonged standing.
- Work Environment - Movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking/standing) rather than sedentary (sitting).
- Climate - Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
