The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries is seeking energetic, open-minded, creative, and tech-savvy applicants with excellent customer service skills to join our team as a Part-Time Library Assistant (19 hrs/wk) in the Columbus Public Library Teen Department.This position provides direct customer service to visitors of all ages through reference, reading recommendations, and technology assistance. As a member of the Teen Department, they will also assist in creating programs and displays, shelving, and departmental and branch projects as assigned. The schedule for this position requires the ability to work 19 hours per week including weekends and evenings (until 8pm). Successful candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or GED, effective communication skills, and enjoy reading, learning, and sharing with others. Applicants who are bilingual or have prior library experience would be stand-out candidates.Salary: $12.50 / hour***All applications must be submitted through our website.
