As a Material Handler you will perform material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts, including materials, equipment and suppliesCompensation & Benefits Offered!Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.73 (pay negotiations based upon skills/experience)2nd shift Work Hours: 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM2nd shift will receive an additional 7% night shift premiumMax 32-hour work week - Work hours flexible!$2,000 sign on bonus. Incumbent will receive first pay out after 90 days of employment and second payout after 180 days of employment.*The payout of sign on bonus will be based on acceptable performance and attendance*100% 401k match up to 6%. You will become eligible once you have completed 1,000 hours of service or one year of service, whichever comes first. of service or one year of service.Health, dental & vision insurance offered!Potential annual performance increaseClean/safe work environmentMust be at least 18 years of agePaid weekly!Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Stock and pull parts as well as delivering materials and suppliesAccurately utilizes data collection systemsPerforms bin transfer confirmation and confirms all material pulled for production ordersEffectively utilizes software systemsMaintains administrative related records and operates computer to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processingUses mobile equipment as required to facilitate job functionsPerform preventive maintenanceAssist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processesPerform 5S AuditsPerform Safety Stop Audits observationsParticipate in the CI/PID ProcessAny duties or tasks that may be assigned to promote cross training or support for various areas of the shopFollow the Caterpillar Production System (CPS) Standard Work SheetsBasic QualificationsMinimum 2 years job related experience in a manufacturing environment preferredTop Candidates Will Also Have:High motivation and a self starterAbility to solve problems and deal with a variety of changing situationsAbility to deal with multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentEffective oral and written communication skillsEffective decision making, analytical, and problem solving skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to organize and prioritize workPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand as needed to perform essential functions of the positionAbility to periodically walk and/or travel to other areas of the plant and other warehouses as directedAbility to use keyboard, reach above shoulder height, below the waist, and lift and file documents throughout the dayAbility to perform safe execution of repetitive motionsAbility to repetitively lift and carry up to 35 poundsVisual and hearing abilities as appropriate for safe execution of job duties, functions and tasksPhysical exertion and effort to safely lift, push or pull components or partsVisa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.This employer is not currently hiring foreign national applicants that require or will require sponsorship tied to a specific employer, such as, H, L, TN, F, J, E, O.
